SOLUBILITY

One gram dissolves in 16 ml water at 25 °C , in 3 ml of boiling water ; 15 ml of glycerol; insoluble in alcohol. The aqueous solution is slightly acid : pH 3.7 - 4.5

USE

As mordant in the rayon textile and leather industry, as insecticide for the control of thrips on citrus trees.
